The optimization of the production processes has been for Setec since the beginning a constant and daily engagement to obtain a highly competitive product among the market.
With a deep sense of cooperation, the mechanical engineers of the technical department, the production managers together with the machine operators has studied and designed a plant fully automated for the cutting of the guide ways and the ballscrews.
In this machine some liner motion products made by Setec are assembled in order to show their wide application capacity. The software control has been set thanks to the cooperation between Setec and an external company.
The result is a higher quality production and a greater cost effectiveness.
The working process is based on an automatic selection of the materials, both linear guide rails and ballscrews, , the sizes and the lengths are selected helping the identifcation of them. The operator will then start easily the production, with an input of the orders waiting to be processed.
When the cut has been done, the machine will download the item on a shelf, ready for the packing.
The system, fully automated, will eliminate the efforts of manual Handling generating a benefit for the operator and a faster preparation of the products.
